Most of them must be in congress

I'm for free market. But with Life and Liberty, these two things have no place in the free market. Otherwise, it would be very easy to justify slavery. Unfortunately, if free market had of worked, we wouldn't be having these discussions now. Competition would have driven the market to everyone being covered, affordable, excellent care. More transparency, etc.Government Moto:

President Obama, is a graduate of Columbia University and Harvard Law School, in which he was president of the Harvard Law Review., not to mention top of his class. Since I've left the denotation of idiot in the next paragraph, I'll also take liberty to say he's the most intelligent Chief Executive we've had in the last 200 years.Originally posted by Steven Vaccaro View PostWell since you brought up Kenya, I think I can now work this in.

Idiot:
1. A foolish or stupid person.
2. A person of profound mental retardation having a mental age below three years and generally being unable to learn connected speech or guard against common dangers. The term belongs to a classification system no longer in use and is now considered offensive.
Trust me, I'll say this without prejudice. Half if not all of the extreme right could fit in 5 percent of the liberals brains. There is more to life than Guns, booze, beer, cigarettes, tobacco and lusting after Sarah Palin
am I? Hmmm.

Was watching the news tonight. They say that some of the opposition have come up with new scare tactics.
1.) The new plan will take away benefits from vets and limit coverage for those currently serving in the military.
2.) Under the new plan, the government has the right to inter (take away) children from their parents.

Unfortunately, the Republicans, since hitching their wagon to the Moral Majority and now the right wing nutbags like Palin are all hat and no cattle. All they can do is bitch and moan and tell lies and have no viable solutions. They are obsessed with destroying the other party and our duly electric President just so they can get the power again. Sorry boys, the party's OVER! If I were a Republican incumbent I'd be looking for a job (probably as a paid lobbyist) to step into after defeat for re-election in 2010.
I would ask Governor Palenty the same questions about the Minnesota State employees health care plan that they are asking Obama.
What are the costs?
How ya gonna pay for it?Can I keep my own doctor?
Can I be refused because of a pre-existing conditions?
Can I be cancelled?
Are you gonna kill my grandma (just threw that in there for effect)
The answers are:
huh? Well, our employees pay part of it. We also have had to hold back raises and make layoffs to meet our budget.
Only if he's in their plan. Otherwise, NO. Same for hospitals, clinics, labs, specialists, etc. etc. etc.
Because it's a state program, no, but god help you if you get layed off.
see above.
We won't kill her, we'll just deny her care. She can go on medicaid but she'll have to become pennyless to qualify.
I KNOW FROM EXPERIENCE the above is all true. I have been on a public service health plan. My mother had to 'get broke' 3 years in advance to get medicaid.
The current system sucks and the Repubs know it but they keep their little sheeples brainwashed. So sad!

The so-called "free market" died when the Republicans deregulated everything and let the crooks and liars take over and do whatever they want. Reagan's 'trickle down"? What a joke!

Doesn't it make you right wing defenders on here PROUD to be associated with this kind of lies and crap? Hmmm? Maybe just a little bit? I used to be a Republican. It was just these type of lies and scare tactics by what has become the "Ultra Right Wing Republican Party" with their bought and paid for spokesmen like Beck, Hannity, Savage, Limbaugh, O'Reilly, Palin, Coulter, and all of Fox News that drove me away. Propaganda is something we don't need in this country but it is alive and well on the right and the sheeple are just eating it up. A mind is a terrible thing to waste. There must be a vast wasteland out there on the right.
