Females at the pond? No thanks!!! I get enough nagging at home. You should hear her whine when I give one of the motors a rev on the kitchen table. The best one is my Maritimo twin. The sound of those twins drives her crazy and not in a good way.

I know I made fun out of the lipo fire and lipo charging sack threads but that was just me having a bit of fun. Just so you all don't think I am completely stupid I thought I would mention that the two threads did prompt me to do something I should have done a long time ago. I have purchased a metal storage box to store my lipos in. I am going to put small "feet" (for the want of a better word) under each corner so that there is a gap between the box and whatever it is sitting. This should stop the heat that is generated when my 3 1/2 lipos catch fire from burning the house down.

Im curious these 'feet'
Where did you source them?
Ive been on the hunt for a spare recently.. Ive found the usual small/medium/large black ones, but need a Caucasian sized 9 , left rotation .

Helping out the local Rc car club at the moment, building a indoor clay track. We were at the factory until 11.30 friday night having to remove 30 meters by 10 meters of mezzanine flooring. Me the sucker being a metal fabricator/welder has the job of building a drivers stand and a 2 meter wide 30 meter long viewing platform.

Good to see the big boat Doc,Hope your stingers turn up soon. If your bored you can paint my boat, i have looked at hundreds of paint jobs cant make up my mind,probably end up 1 colour.

Where did you source them?

I will look about for something that has heat insulating qualities that can be bolted in each corner. Something like asbestos bolts with big heads

Vibrating boats I don't want her to enjoy them. I am trying to keep her away from them.

A word from experience.. the more you help, the less you are appreciated.

I just added goldy yellow to the center of this hull. looks okay as a starter.
I have a simple paint scheme chooser,, buy some 4L 2pak base colors when on special.. when they're empty, time to choose another scheme !

These tins are now almost dry .. lots of boats covered so far .. below is one the bigger variety !

@2.52M .. Ive owned larger rc boats

Seats 2(skinny bum) people, licensed 2 skiers !
~60mph flatout... is okay on flat water.. bloody thing loves the surf ( me too )!!!!

Great fun ( so my memory tells me.. check the pic dates ) .. historically a refuge for homeless spiders.

Found me a nice one years ago, took it home, Swore Id love and look out for it for ever.. discovered it was destroying everything around.. my wonderful crustacean was crazy..... so we divorced ....
Thinking of her still makes me itch in a most peculiar way ....Nasty critter !
