Not boat related but here goes...
Me and my x were travelling the outback and I pulled up beside another 4WD near Ayers Rock to ask directions. Got talking to the driver for a while and he asked where I was from. I said "Tasmania" to which he replied "the worst sex I ever had was with a woman from Tasmania". X was not too good at hearing and she said "what did he say dear". I answered "he said he thinks he knows you dear!!!"

Best bits at moment would be 2 -3 rusty bolts lol.
My big plan has fallen to bits. was hoping boat would be here by end of this week coming. could add stingers,rudder. reinforce transom,rear of sponsons.
But alas its not to be. work shop is nearly cleaned out. work bench will be gone next weekend so know were to work on boat. Chances are fairly slim that new place will have a work shop/shed.
Mite have to drive to the doc,s place in S.A to work on boat :-)

Not sure what to do.
1. leave it see if it gets shipped.
2. cancel order.
3. put it to paypal see what they say.
6 days since it was marked posted.
if i lived in the states and paid $15 postage then no biggy. But when forking out over 90 bucks for 3-5 day delivery it kinda blows.
Mite sound slack but its put me off getting back into boats.

I agree.. paying extra for 3-5 days delivery.. 6 days ago ... and the bloody thing is yet to depart.....deserves at least a full 'express delivery' refund.. and Id demand free delivery to boot !

Look at it this way.. you're the smartest of the Skips here knowing FC has dodgey delivery services !

Post something in the general Q&A like "FC, Where's my express delivery boat ? "
I browse his stuff sometimes, but can buy most cheaper here in Oz.. and Ive never read his own microforum.

Yea just not sure if i am being unreasonable. told a mate about it last night,his advice was go straight to paypal put in a dispute.
Will leave it till monday night there time. thats a full week. if nothing is shipped i will hit paypal straight up see what they say.

It is like I always say... Thieves have no brains. Mate if I was going to steal one I would at least check the batteries were charged first.
Next time I will put the boat in the car before I drive home or stick it on to the car with hatch tape.

run a piece of fishing line from boat to your old fella. just be careful if you drive of and boat catches on some thing you may lose a body part from the knot up

I will run the 138 in primer first and get it sorted before out to paint.
