I use the same line of reasoning. I do not build a boat everyday and I can put the saved money into good hardware, motors and hulls.Several boats in various stages of destruction

Paddy no one seems to have noticed that that prop is about 70mm and 1/4" drive!!! You should let them know you plan to run 12s in this little orange boat. Thats right guys 12s and is going for the world speed record. Now a 70mm 3 blader going 50,000 rpm in a 33" boat.............................................. .................................................. .........

Douggie you might make fun of the love I have for my St. K. F. C. and the mighty Packers but now they are making GO FAST boat accessories....Originally posted by Flying Scotsman View PostPaddy, you also have this thing for a person on the knights of Kilda. Is the wife getting disturbed.

Andy who???
Andy some pics to show you the position of the rudder in relation to the drive dog. The rudder could go back a bit I think so I will have to make an extension to achieve that. I think it could do with a longer rudder but I am going to try this one first. The pictures also show you where I am up to. Not much more will be done today as I have other things to do.

Yep a longer rudder with the leading edge in line with drive dog would be a good start. I must say that the strut looks very good for the price, what happened to that 67mm 3 blader you are going to run? That 45-47mm looks quite pathetic compared to it

That 3 blader is on it's way to you for an Andym special. Give it the works mate and we will see what this little thing will do when the big motor comes.Originally posted by andym View PostYep a longer rudder with the leading edge in line with drive dog would be a good start. looking good paddy except maybe the rudder, i run one of these on my DF brings it out close to the drive dog and gives a good depth below the prop, good price as well http://www.offshoreelectrics.com/pro...prod=ose-80050

Douggie #12 is the captain of St Kilda, Nick Riewoldt. Number 12 would be the STAR of any match...Originally posted by Flying Scotsman View PostPaddy I watched the game between St. Kilda and the Western Bulldogs. One heck of a match and #12 was the STAR. There was one lad on the Bulldogs who made one hell of a banana/slice kick.
Also for those ignorant of the game, it makes the NFL players fitness levels look awfull and no pads and helments. Aussie rules is a very tough game!!!
Douggie
St Kilda will play in the Grand Final this coming Saturday. They won 20 out of 22 games this year and finished on top of the ladder but you only have to lose the last game and it is all over until next year. No prize for second place. Ahh I hate to think of the game on Saturday.
