Well, no, that is not what the bill says or does. What it did was include pedophiles in the group that if they are the victims of violent assault that the people who are alleged to have committed that assault can be prosecuted under the hate crimes statues.

I am not sure I get this whole "hate crime" thing. But I think the distinction is if the motivation for the crime was solely on the basis of the person being black, a homosexual, pedophile, etc. versus other reasons for killing or assaulting someone.

How can we get Politicians included in this Bill?

They (I believe a congressman from somewhere in New England) are working on a repeal of the 22nd Amendment to the Constitution.

I can't believe no one has commented on this. While everybody is watching the right hand, the left hand is working hard behind all the smoke and mirrors on this one. Does anybody know what the 22nd Amendment to the Constitution did? And why do you suppose they want to repeal it?

Bill - if you have ever experienced the behavior of a prosecuting attorney, you will easily understand how their actions can become easy fodder for the "hate crime" label. It doesn't require physical violence to be a criminal under the hate crime laws. And it's not a big jump legally to go from the way things are right now to making speaking out against perverts becoming a crime also.

I believe a pastor in Canada has been prosecuted for preaching in his church an Biblical view against sodomites. I'd have to see if I can google for it sometime, it's been a few years and I don't know how successful a search would be. A group like CLA would probably know immediately all the details if it had happened. In fact, about 5 years ago we had legal counsel recommend specific wording in our church constitution to protect us against possible problems from the homosexual crowd.

I think you want them EXCLUDED so you can beat them to a pulp and it WILL NOT be a "hate crime". Even the term is nonsensical - should there be different laws and punishment for "love crimes", "just friends crimes", "seriously derranged whacko crimes"?

Maybe we will all live in Utopia when every minute aspect of our lives are controlled by the government (or whatever the appropriate regulatory authority might be). From the type of toothpaste you use in the morning to the toilet paper you use in the evening. Heck, they already control your lightbulbs, your toilet (must be low-flush you know), your car, your HVAC system in your house (remote government temperature control), your lawnmower, your chain saw, what you exhale (and plants inhale), just about everything you come into contact with is taxed and/or regulated by an ever-expansive government.

Nirvana is just around the corner. Maybe we will all get to wear green shirts in the new America, where equality of outcome and spreading the misery will be the rule. Take from the achievers and give to the non-achievers until everybody has nothing but what the government gives them. Oh boy! I can hardly wait. Trickle-up poverty.

The virus isn't as bad as it seems....I work at the local hosp. In the lab running flu tests all day....as long u get treatment fairly soon it ok....we weren't ready for the speed of the virus. Those masks work about 5 percent of keeping droplets away.....I laugh seeing people wearing them....
