Water speed record

Here is an article about some students that are trying to break the water speed record. The boat is also pretty good looking.

That "team" has been claiming to be ready to build a record breaker for at least eight years - but no boat has ever been on the water. The "Quicksilver" has gone through several iterations, always a computer model or mockup. So far it's just been an attempt to bilk money out of ill-informed investors. Maybe they will actually produce something. I'll believe it when I see it.
