And let's not forget that Clinton himself recently said on ABC that one of the failures of the Democrats was that they failed to listen to the warnings of the Republicans concerning the risks associated with Fannie and Freddie, after HIS administration further opened up the housing acts started by Johnson, with HUD, and expanded by Carter... which were also reigned in some by Reagan... Only to be busted wide open by Clinton...

This goes WAY beyond simply 'morals'... it has to do with philosophies and policies that harm the US economy... or have we all forgotten that we were in a downturn for the last 2-years of Clinton's administration, and the first 3 or 4-years were riding the coat-tails of Reagan's policies...

That would make the Presidency, the Senate, the House, and the Judiciary, all under one big Liberal unbrella...

You all have to remember that the president is only 1/3rd of the equation. Also every thing proposed by our pres has been approved by a democrat controlled congress...........All the money for the war, etc.

First, the GOP had a filibuster proof majority for the first 6.5 years of the Bush Presidency. The Democrats have held a slim majority for the last 1.5 years. In the Senate it is 49-49-1-1 with Lieberman being mostly GOP leaning and Bernie Sanders leaning toward the Democratic side. In the house the Dems do not have a large enough majority to prevent the GOP filibuster from stopping anything they choose to stop.

So it is amusing to see how the GOP STILL tries to blame the Dems, since they "control" Congress.

In many respects the GOP is Socialist, they will keep the benefits and spread the blame, but never actually share in it.

And Reagan was mentioned, people do recall that it was Reagan who started one of the most Socialist programs that we have, the Earned Income Credit. The EIC is DESIGNED to "spread the wealth" and Reagan got it done.

And as this election nears its end I still wonder what the media coverage would have been if:

Obama was part of the Keating 5
Michelle Obama belonged to a seccesionist group
Biden was found to have used his position unethically
The DNC spent $150K on clothes for Biden
Obama divorced his wife to marry a younger rich hottie after wifey #1 got fat
Obama was next to last in his class at college rather than first
Obama had been the recipient of government paid health care all his life
Obama supporters called McCain a terrorist or yelled out to kill him
Obama had been born in the Canal Zone instead of Hawaii
Obama had selected Sarah Palin for his VP (or a Democrat identical to her)
Obama was 72 years old

I wonder what Sean, and Rush, and Bill-O would say then?? I'm certain that their silence on these things have nothing to do with them being facts about the GOP side of the election versus the Democratic side.

Ummmm I mean it's $149,000.... is but one example of a "promise" he has made but has no intention of keeping...

Let's be accurate here... the EIC was started in 1975 by Carter. It was expanded in 1986 by Reagan, then again in 1990, 1993, and 2001.

So if this is already in place... and it's "working" soooo well... How again is BO going to change things???

Interesting, but THAT is what we're doing now??? We're comparing a few RNC contributors who are questionable to OBAMA contributors that don't exist?? Big difference... especially when you consider that donations to the RNC are for the Republicans collectively... BO contributions are for HIS campaign directly...
