Amazing racing, been following it since the Louis Vitton(?) cup started bac in June.
Huge sailing fan, the only power boats I like are RC or full scale Unlimited Hydros.
Looking at buying a 30 footer this comming spring, been a while since I've owned a sailboat, time for it to happen again.

I am not THAT ambitious! I am building a 48" Cat with automatic height controls for the foils and a Wingsail.

Amazing cats....my son races his yacht at the RVYC in Vancouver B.C. and left last Saturday to watch one week of the match racing....go Kiwis go....that nation produces the best sailors bar none and that is extraordinary for such a small country.

Oddly enough, the Oracle Team USA sailing team has only two members that are US citizens... the remainder are mainly Kiwis, a few Aussies and a couple of Netherlanders. The management team consists of one American, a Kiwi and an Aussie. Guess it's just the money that makes it Team USA............

I went today! It was awesome, I got to enjoy from the yacht
Club. They asked for an affiliate yacht club card and I showed em my Model Mariners membership and it worked!

What a difference a week makes! Eight wins in a row for Oracle Team USA holding off Team New Zealand for the overall win! Feel bad for Dean Barker and crew, but it's still a win for the Kiwi's.... they comprise the greater part of the Team USA crew....
