Ordered some parts from them last Wednesday and have not heard a peep from them. I have tried two different emails and a busy phone number. No response. They do have my $95 though.

Are these guys still in business?

Yes Kintec is still in business. Jan has alot of orders and emails to process, I received my order from him last week.

Can u guys back me up on this one and give my mom some re assurance, she getting mad because she never received a confirmation that kintecracing received the $ and that it went somewhere else. I know jan got it because of all the info I have seen on here, but do u guys ever get a confirmation and how long does it typically take to relieve ur order? Again this is just to prove my mom! -_- she's annoying, can't wait to move out! XD

I NEVER get confirmation from Kintec's site, but PayPal will send me an e mail titled " Receipt for your payment to kintec..."
I get his shipment quite fast, sometimes as fast as OSE, depends how busy Jan is.
Kintec is really reliable, for this hobby, if anything is out of stock here @ OSE, I will order from Jan, also for items that are not carried by OSE.

You're not going to get a confirmation from kintec, Paypal maybe but not kintec. Just tell her to keep an eye on the account summary, and I'm sure Jan will add the tracking when he gets it out.

Kintec rarely send conformation via email anymore, at least I don't get em, but PayPal yes. Kintec has NEVER let me down, or OSE for that matter

Yep, I didn't get any notification that they got my order or that they shipped. I had to email numerous times. It took right at 2 weeks to get my parts, with limited email responses. Then some parts were backordered. I guess I'll get them sometime. No mention of refund for the BO parts either.

I'm not bashing on them but figured the customer service would have been a touch better.

I ordered mine about Sunday night. But I am NOT expecting to get them this week due to 4th of July. I don't mind it though, and for a smaller business like jan, I don't expect a faster shipping time like other places. I'm just happy we have places like kintecracing and ose, makes it much easier to find our stuff! :)

Ose first choice , then kinetic. Only information you will get is from PayPal about order and shipping. Jan works and still makes time to run another business for our boats. Personally I don't know how he does it and he does it very well, in my opinion as being self employed myself. If any parts are on back order he will hold the order for a day or so but if longer than that he will ship in stock order and ship back ordered parts when they arrive. And that is usually only a few days or week. If any problems I'm positive he will get worked out. So basically order and don't worry, then wait for mailman to bring the goodies!!!

Placed an order on July 4th, got notice from PayPal that package is sent already! I didn't expect anything would happen during this holiday weekend!
