I Quit Smoking Cigarettes; You Can Too with "Vaping"

Smoking Camel straights at the quantity I consumed them, I spent +/- $63,552 on butts in the last sixteen years. [Yes, I deserve to be called crazy-go ahead, I'm guilty as charged]. I quit seven weeks ago using Vapor (E-cigarettes) and haven't looked back. Say what you will,but they're working for me. No radical mood swings (OK, I only axe-murdered one innocent pedestrian at a bus stop bench).

Turns out the "Vaping" world is HUGE, with lots of forums, and the hardware is as plentiful and configurable as FE. So are the "juice" flavors, ingredients, and nicotine concentrations.

Batteries: Ego-T 3.4V 600 mah's and on it's way 1000mah battery (yup; lipo's)
1.8 ohm cartomizer element
Kanger 2.4 ml. CC Clearomizer

Juice :

Halo Turkish 16mg. for daily smoke
Halo Kringle's Curse Mint for dessert smoking

No carcinogens, and variable nicotine concentrations which can be stepped down to zero for total abstinence

Here's the rigs I use. Blue one has Root Beer or cinnamon flavor; clear one has tobacco, coming is a bigger stainless battery & a smoked clearomizer for the Kringle's Curse dessert mint.

Since I got into vaping, I've spent hours and hours exploring the scene. There's LOTS of stuff out there, and all kinds of re-branding going on. Like a first boat, you can end up going in the wrong direction until you get a fix on what's good or not so good. I actually started out with the Joy eGo Dual Kit shown on the link. Basically paid the same. Since then, I've discarded all but the batteries and charger. Found what I pictured in the earlier post and it's WAY better in many ways - just took some experimenting. I found a site with the good product and bottom prices and should receive my order in a day or two. If everything comes in as promised, I'll give you the part #'s and you can get way more for way less. Best to find a retail store that lets you sample flavors; it's a totally personal choice. I found the Halo brand in a local store but now order it online to save $$. Hang tight & I'll stay with you on this. Use my e-mail; my ose box fills up all the time.

Tony, I quit smoking 17 years ago and I was an animal to any person that knew me for about 4 weeks.....started at age 10...2 packs a day and none with tampons on them....quit cold turkey.

Good stuff, Keith. Just watch the increased appetite. Slight increase in mine (late last night I ate a roll of duct tape and I'm missing my prop balancer).

Vaping in nothing new.
People who want th use The Herb, but not smoke, have been doing this for a long time.
What I would like (not for me, but a friend) Is an multi-color LED hack, so the LED in the end cycles through colors. It would be an 3 ellament LED, and 3 (darlington?) transistors, being driven by 3 sine waves with an offset. All this needs to be packaged in the diameter of the e-cig.
