Canada has some talent, and a whole lotta crap. I'm not sure location relates to musical talent but w/e. also, I'm not sure lady honk and justin barber don't write their own songs. Maybe they do, maybe they don't. Either way, they're still good songwriting

Dana name your favourite bands and single singers and Canada has produced a lot of talent apart from Justin the barber.

Doug, I'm not sure you would even know my favs, based on the genre of music I enjoy, but bands like meshuggah from Sweden or Behemoth from Poland I think are great. My biggest influences as a guitar player are Van Halen and James hetfield from Metallica. As far as solo singers, my two favs are micheal Jackson and justin timberlake. I could make a huge list, but what's the point? Metal never gets the credit it deserves, but there are some insane talents among modern metal bands....
I can appreciate any and all talent in any genre.... Tho my preference is for the hard stuff

Van Halen was great and yes I do listen to metal bands....good to know you play the guitar. ...as I was crap on the base guitar. This is a guitar genuis and he could sing, and yes it is cover of a master of song writing.

What does Steve Winwood have to do with Jack Bruce, Ginger Baker, and Eric Clapton, (CREAM)????? Perhaps Winwood may have hooked up with one of those three, but I'm sure
it was only a fantasy my dear Mr. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ugTaP...eature=related
