You both sound just like my parents did in the '60s - according to them I listened to "kid's music" back then. Who cares what music is like today - or in the 1940s for that matter - there is plenty of music available for everyone, your grandkids or your grand parents. How awful the world would be if all we had to listen to was just the BeeGees...or just Buddy Holly...or just the Stones...or just Metallica. .
