Yep, just as I thought, I got the same message Too. When I log into my Facebook first, the vid pops right up. To bad you couldn't see her, I think she has potential. She just graduated from the school of arts in Vegas, and now has a scholarship.

Here's a band we Aussies were graced with back in the 70's & through the decades into the 2000's.
The Angels.
Some of you may have heard of them.
Sadly, the enigmatic singer, Doc Neeson died last year.

Here's a great live version of 'make me smile' by Chicago when Terry Kath was still alive. He really poured his heart out! Some of these clowns today can't even sing in tune, let alone put some soul into it, and the cost is $80-$100 per show!!!!

Growing up I would often ask my mother how to spell a word, and she would answer, there's a dictionary just look it up. To which, I would reply, If I don't know how to spell it, how can I look it up?

Another Douggie old fart rant. I think I was blessed to listen to popular rock music in it's glory years....the 1960's. I also love the blues, classical and folk music, but I can not wrap my head arround, rap, Lady Gagga and others of the modern popular music scene with crappy audio and over the top concert productions....I must be getting old and just love my music tastes and boats?

I've re-read many of the posts in this thread. But I'm going to bring back Douggie's first post. Regardless of genre in the old days, most of the recordings were of great quality and played by musicians with real talent. Music was produced with quality in mind. Not quantity. Don't get me wrong, there are some quality recordings by artists with talent now days. Just not so much. Music was a main source of entertainment for many of us. We felt it, we imagined, made love to it and had social interactions with the music being the focus. Today it is relegated to being background "noise" for many. People seldom sit and enjoy the music by it's self. Personal tastes are up to each individual. It is not worth arguing about. Maybe Douggie can point out what he finds most important and we can start from there. Frankly some of the music that has been posted highlights "The Death of Music" But that is just one persons thoughts.
