I run a 3660 3500kv on 2s is my slash 4x4 and its awesome! 16x54 gearing...stock is 13x54. With a really high kv motor like that I would watch temps and gear accordingly. But from my experience the setup I have on 2s is more than enough for bashing/track applications.
