Whatever dude... It's been shown over and over and over again how all of this is simply going to run America into the ground and put our children's children so deep in debt they'll never get out from under it... If you want to support that, go for it.
There are much more fiscally responsible, free-market (with some Government oversight) solutions that would have a much stonger impact on this problem....Darin E. Jordan - Renton, WA

You're probably right. It's just the guys in office have there own agendas and are unwilling to look at other options. Other countries have various ways of coping with the issue that are not "breaking the bank." Maybe if we get out of this money pit, we could expand our options... http://costofwar.com/Originally posted by Darin Jordan View PostThere are much more fiscally responsible, free-market (with some Government oversight) solutions that would have a much stonger impact on this problem....Government Moto:

Actually he puts a nail in the public's coffin! as I write this the value of the dollar is declining daily, We are no longer the STANDARD to be traded world wide. Over the next year you will see the value of the dollar plummet, WHY? because out GUMMIT is spending money like a drunk sailor, the money they are spending has no street value because there is nothing to back the money except credit against future GNP and credit from other countries. If this administration keeps spending money in the current rate they will quadruple our deficit in the next 3 years.Originally posted by RCprince View Posthttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nunTTyfCr8Y

Nothing will ever change until we as a collective voice, remove the negligent profits these corporation make. In-addition the symbiosis that goes on between Washington and corporate world, and finally rework The Senate.Last edited by RCprince; 10-12-2009, 12:57 PM.Samuel Johnson - “An injustice anywhere is an injustice everywhere.” William Cooper "listen to everything, read everything, and believe nothing unless you can prove it in your own research!"

I used to think with all the technological advances that have been made in recent years, that we could put more into the hands of the people. But that can't happen until we get the media to be more truthful and unbiased about key issues. We need to disallow "donations" which equate to little more than bribes from corporate sponsors and special interests groups, from influencing our politicians decisions. Decisions should be based on facts and what a politicians constituients want. The party affiliations should be secondary.Government Moto:

Let me paraphrased what I said, Again! since you...clearly responded to your own statement and not one that I made. Negligent:adj habitually neglecting duties, responsibilities, etc.; lacking attention, care, or concern; neglectful.Originally posted by Darin Jordan View PostThat is such a silly statement to make... Since it's said that you work at Boeing, I'll use them as a point of reference. If Boeing presumptuously and purposely defraud the U.S. Government by getting into a contract to provide a particular defense weapon, may it be aircraft or missile, etc, and they knowingly bill the Government of the United States of America (tax paying citizens). And as a result delivered product injures or kills an operator, ie: soldier or Govt contractor. They are liable and should not only held a accountable for punitive damages, but damages on the profits they make from supplying such a product. In which case the Insurance Companies would be held responsible for the product they did not supply, Health-Care!
Say I enter in to a fiduciary "Insurance" contract with a health-care provider. In which my premiums are paid in full and on time and a major health crisis should arise, where they conveniently refuse to insure me. Our enforcement agencies (the House and the Senate) should be able to act on my behalf and impose levies and fines upon them.
So your response was quite subjective and out of character, Darin.Last edited by RCprince; 10-12-2009, 01:49 PM.Samuel Johnson - “An injustice anywhere is an injustice everywhere.” William Cooper "listen to everything, read everything, and believe nothing unless you can prove it in your own research!"

Our current healthcare system is so full of lies, deceptions and greed. Each member of this great "deception" is placing blame on each other for a industry that has grown as complex as it is crooked. Insurance companies are only a part of an obviously larger problem. The gouging of Americans. Hospitals, clinics, doctors, pharmaceuticals, device makers, government all have their hands dirty with this travesty. As the world's strongest industrialized nation, we should demand/have a better system in place than we do now. If unchecked, the current system will bankrupt this nation as prices on goods and services will have to be increased to offset the costs of healthcare increases to each businesses employees. Whether the employees have company furnished insurance or each employee has to purchase an individual plan.Government Moto:

I would think you'd be more concerned with them imposing that they act to impose that your heathcare needs be covered!Originally posted by RCprince View PostOur enforcement agencies (the House and the Senate) should be able to act on my behalf and impose levies and fines upon them.
You're entire focus is on "all" of the "evil" out there... The majority of the cases are not this way.
I'm all for cleaning up the system, which includes Tort reform and better governance over the Insurance companies. BUT none of that is what they are talking about doing...
When your Government is the ones that are refusing to pay for your healthcare needs... who will you appeal to then???
