Diversity has never been the path to greatness. It is the uniqueness of the American culture and rugged individulaism that made this country great. Historically, people came here from other cultures to become Americans, not some hyphenated sub-group claiming special rights and exclusions.

Rememeber the phrase "the melting pot"? People came from around the world because of the opportunity this country offered (not the claim of equal outcome), they learned English, and they became became Americans. The melting pot is gone and we now have fruit salad. Lots of little enclaves of various cultures, all clinging to their own cultures making this country a non-entity.

It has always been that way since the beginning of this country.

Historically people from other countries have tended to stay with their group since the beginning, right down to religion. You have your facts exactly backwards. These days we have a higher percentage of integration than ever before in US history.

I said nothing about immigrants. I am on a rant about ILLEGAL ALIENS. By the way, illegal aliens are not immigrants in the definition of US law. Immigration is a legal process for foreigners to become citizens.

Guess what man, EVERYONE is different, and has the right to be. Get over it! They also have the right to any friggin kind of culture they want.

They are absolutely entitled to their culture.... In their counrty. Come to our country and respect our culture (or what's left of it).

There are only three things that define a country: Its borders, its language, and its culture. Without borders, language, and culture, there is no France, no Germany, no Slovakia, no Brazil, no Uraguay, no Chile, no.... well, you get the picture.

Try going to some foriegn country and start demanding that they adapt their culture to suit a handfull of Americans illegally living in some isolated enclave and see what happens. Demand multi-culturalism, demand that they have everything in their native language AND English, and see what happens. Then start demanding that said foriegn government pay for your healthcare, give you food stamps, free education, free this and free that, and see what happens.

Just for what it's worth, go research how Mexico treats its southern border with Guatamala. They have an illegal immigration problem there too. Their solution? The Mexican military protects their border and the Guatamalan "immigrants" that survive are detained and deported post haste.

You sound like you are young. Not true anymore. Our President bows at the feet of Saudi Kings and apologizes for being an American. Leftist politicians subordinate this country's interests to the interest of "Globalism" and pseudo-science. Two-bit Somalian pirates hold U.S. Citizens for ransom - and get paid (ony one exception to this scenario has occurred that I can recall). The U.S. dollar is worth zip on the world market. We have a sophicasted military, yet no one has the guts to use it for its intended purpose (to break things and kill people in spectacular fashion), instead it is used to keep military contractors in a positive cash-flow situation. Oh yes, what about China?

Yes, in the 70s and 80s, we were the most powerful nation on earth. Ronaldus Magnus told Gorby "Tear down this wall!" and what happened? The wall came down. Do you think Barry Hussein Obama, Nancy "botox" Pelosi, Harry "land swindler" Reid, Barbara "check bouncer" Boxer, Henry "Nostrilitus" Waxman, Barney "I know nothing of a gay prostitution business being run out of my house" Frank, and Maxine "no justice, no peace" Waters have that level of commitment to the strength of this country?

Imagine for a minute the following scenario: You are at your job; you just got paid and cashed your check. You wallet is full of the hard-earned fruits of your labor. Come quitting time, you walk outside and there I am with two big goons at my side and I demand that you hand over your wallet; otherwise my goons will do something bad to you with no legal repercussions whatsoever. Begrudgingly, you relinquish your wallet and I remove as much cash as I feel appropriate. (I don’t know, how does half of it sound?) Then I tell you that I know better than you how to spend your money and that I am going to give some of it to some crack addicts in “the ‘Hood”, and send the rest in an envelope to some of my buddies in Tierra Del Fuego.

What would you think? Do you think that is the proper thing for me to do? If so, please forward your work address and payday schedule via PM so my “Associates” and I can meet up with you when you get paid (P.S. my “Associates” are “ethnically diverse”, well armed, and skilled in the martial arts if you get my drift…). The government TAKES you money (whether you like it or not), and then spends it according to their priorities because they believe they know better how to spend your money than do you. A big chunk of it goes to support criminals that break our laws, or foreign nationals who have entered this country ILLEGALLY with no intention whatsoever of becoming “Americans” (by “Americans”, I refer specifically to U.S. Citizens, not inhabitants of “the Americas” – North, Central, and South).

Like I said, since I became of legal age to vote in the 70's. It's been going on. Nothing has changed...with the exception of one numchuk with a mental disorder and his league of extrordinary henchmen, trying to re-interpret the consititution for us. Not talking Obama there. They raise our taxes each year let's just say..6% per year. Then every 5th year they give us a tax "cut" "break", whatever their term of the day might be,
for 5%. And we are supposed to be eternally greatful? Obama is just a new face on an old problem. The people have lost control of the government that they are supposed to control.
