Despite the fact that the owners appear left leaning they have been proven over time to be very reliable. Keep in mind that the political stuff is only a small part of what they do. In addition, while I did not post them, for both examples there were numerous other references that agreed with Snopes. I have yet to see an example of where they were outright wrong.

It is sort of interesting that the only sector that questions their accuracy is the right, yet they never turn that same critical eye on say Fox News. Fox has been caught in outright lies without any real consequences while people will jump on Snopes if it disagrees with them.

I see the appearance of a left wing leaning of Snopes as being more to the fact that the left simply makes up less crap and uses lies and deception to a lesser degree.

I to had to laugh at this. The thought of a grown man actually thinking that either side in this story has the moral high ground just amazes me. Sorry Bill, but that line really should be stricken from the record for your benefit.

Wow, one side lies 99% of the time, the other 98% of the time. They both lie and stink and in the mean time we argue over it!!!!!! Seems they are winning.......

I do not recall assigning percentages. To do so in the absence of actual data would be intellectually dishonest. But I stand by the statement that we simply see fewer made up crap coming from the left. Not saying it is not done, but there is less of it.

the percentages were just an example sir, an embelishment or extreme example if you will. Sorry, did not think you would take that serious as it is a well know fact that 71.5% of statistics are just made up on the spot.

My point is both sides stink. And I see it different, you see less from the left, I see less from the right. But again, it is a moot point regardless of your point of view. I respect your point of view, but please understand it is not universal.

I for one am afraid of what the future holds as the two sides become more and more polarized, doesn't bode well sir.

I think I will scroll back up to the boat stuff. So, something more important, what was the last boat you ran Bill? I ran a 24" 3s mono. Ran really well, posted about it under boat building and adding strakes. Kind of a conservative boat, moderate speed, long run time, cheap internals. Works for me, had fun. Learning as I go, to include taking videos and editing!

I don't. It is amazing to see how almost all discussions between Americans become political and then get very heated. It is very funny to read at times.

Down here in the South most of our discussions degenerate into Ford vs Holden(GM), What beer we all drink and which Rugby team is the least cr@p at the game.
