that boat and seam are just fine, you guys are blowing this way out of proportion, we have been making butt joint boats for years, if we grind a corner on either piece to much,(mainly in corners there will be a gap). however on our boat we glass the deck and hull together with one layer of 1 1/2 oz mat and back that up with a layer of 5.8 oz carbon, the seam is rock solid, they need and have always needed filling and sanding,This is nothing new. And it is not a 700.00 hull, its a 350.00 hull.we could do the seams but we feel the guy buying a hull, and all the parts from where ever. and is going to build the boat can handle the bodywork needed,if we worked on the seam for another day with our overhead it would have a finished seam and be 600.00.like mhz. but even there boats need seam work.there are threads on this on almost every form. I have no problem with this post. it represents what we sell.we make bare hulls that are a great value, however they still require modeling.I have never sold a boat without making this clear.any body person or capable painter will not see this seam as anything more then minor,being that it is a sound foundation.

No problem, no harm done. I'm glad that you and few others feel strongly about this, I thought I was the only one that was dissapointed. Trust me there's no smile on my face right now. I just need to sell everything here since I got other projects going one.

I did show him pictures and he says its acceptable. It is not shipping damage. Thank you for your concern. Well if this is the way they build hulls I am never buying another one ever again. Lets let this thread be since it is a for sale thread and we can discuss this elsewhere in the forums. I don't want the mods to lock my thread. It is stated now that this came from expresscraft as pictured.

I have a 60 mti and can tell u it does not look like that. I would not want that hull in any way. Piece of junk. IT has split open and would not be something I would want evern repaired. REALLY surprises me with expresscraft. Tom needs to see this. Maybe damaged in shipping.

I have already contacted Tom about the fit of the hull, as of right now the hull is still for sale and I will work with expresscraft on the issue. Thanks. The right thing for me to do was to not even put it up for sale and deal with the expresscraft but I absolutely have no space in my garage so it has to go.

I just received a email from him. He did state to me that the seams need a little work in a previous email. My idea of a little work was completely different. I'm not here to knock on expresscraft, I'm here to sell the boat. I was told from another guy that larger hulls tend to need a little work, again apparently i'm on a different wavelength on that thought.

I'm willing to just sell the hull with the hardware.

I'm a huge fan of HOR parts . I've used speedmaster for a long time but I've switched over to HOR for Quality and price is just unbeatable !!!! I 1st tried the cables for $15 with dog and prop nut and at many 85mph passes they are as good as any $35 Shuner I've used . I try to support my lh but these parts and prices ing just can't be beat . HOR 1/4 style 3 stinger !!!! Good luck with the sale .

The fit isn't great, the black showing is carbon fiber. It does need work.
