o, ive had fun with this boat the 4 times ive driven it... but the titan has been ordered and will soon be on its way so i need to make the room.
What your getting is as follows:
-Villain EX, this is the newest version of this boat. It has a waterproof, watercooled EVX 2 ESC with the watercooling jacket.
-Watercooling kit is installed. I added a 2nd water pickup and routed the cooling water through 2 separate loops. This means your getting double the cooling.
-I also added bullet connectors to the motor leads. This way you can remove the motors if you need to without having to unsolder the wires from the motors.
-Other than these upgrades the boat is completely stock.
I ran this boat for about 4 runs on the original dual 6 cell 3000mah batteries. I got about 15 minute runtimes with this setup. I then ran it 2 times on dual 5000mah 2S lipos. I was getting almost 40 minute run times on the 2X 2S setup and its SUPER fast this way. The video posted is of the dual 2S lipo setup.
The boat is in absolutely MINT condition. It has never been run ashore, dropped or damaged in any way. I got it while on vacation about a month ago. I ran it on the nimh batteries while on vacation but had an issue with the ESC the day I got home. So, I sent the ESC back to traxxas and they replaced it. I got it back just this past week. Got everything setup and its working perfectly.
The stock TQ2 radio is included and works perfectly. The stock batteries are NOT included. They have been given away to my neighbours for their traxxas RC's. So, to be clear... NO batteries are included with this boat. But the ESC is rated for 2 X 7cell nimh or you can run 2X 2S lipos if you have an LVA.
Im asking $180 shipped FIRM for this boat. I need it gone so im trying to price it to sell fast. The Villain EX sells for $250 from tower, plus the watercooling kit will cost about $270 less a discount youll pay somewhere in the area of $240 for this new. Then you need to tear it all apart and install the watercooling kit (which is a pain). This one has no batteries but they arent worth much anyway. So, I think $180 shipped is fair. The ONLY thing I need is a VXL motor... if someone wanted the boat and had a VXL motor (not one thats been overheated) id give you $40 toward the boat as a partial trade.
