I got a strong 9XL with new bearings and minimal play. 5.5 mm bullets. Just ran it today in my hydro - 50 mph on 4S (old 20C batteries). I can include a water jacket if needed. can send you pics tomorrow.

Pics of my slash 4x4 runs great never seen a 3cell but i heard they run like a bat outta hell with 3cell it has a esc fan and cooling fins on motor i run a venom 8000mah 2cell i also have some spare parts bearing etc etc

you could use it it will have to be water cooled. my sidewinder set up was for a 1/10 truck. so for cooling your gonna need a water jacket for the motor. the good thing about the traxxas stuff its water proof

i dont have the the stock esc and motor and the sidewinder set up is in my losi. ohh well

Do you still have electronics for it or the brushless set up you had in it. Im sorry to be a pain i just want that boat only. Ready to go when it gets here the slash with radio RTR for the rio with esc and motor no radio ive got plenty of radios i think thats fair.

Yes it is brushless with traxxas link 2.4 ghz radio cooling fins on engine and esc fan
