Great time!

Highlight for me was watching Larry's Q-Cat fly over that bridge in the back left corner. Not sure how Terry and Tom retrieved it!!!! Spectacular!!

Great time! Finally got out of the house! Thanks Tom, Terry, Chris (nice meeting you)!!! Sorry I had to leave so abruptly on Friday, but I think you guys know where my priorities are lately. :)

Another great time at the Michigan Cup! The MMEU guys and gals are a great bunch. Just hanging out after racing is enough to get me there, racing is secondary, seriously.

You couldn't go wrong voting for Tom or Terry for the Ed Hughey Sportsman Award, these guys work there collective butts off. I thanked them everyday for their efforts, I know what it takes. Congratulations again Terry! Tom, I can still see you punching the keyboard at 11pm. setting up the Cup teams. Yes, you are a machine!
Tyler, awesome performance guy, just awesome! Proud of you buddy!

Thanks also to Juice and the rest of the MMEU gang. I'll see you again next year God willing!

Thanks for all your help Chris.

It's tough to decide which I'm more proud of. The Hughey award or Tyler winning the Presidents Cup. Any time your offspring do well at something you have to smile. The little bugger can drive. But.............. that Hughey award means more to me than any honor I've had bestowed upon me. I still don't think of myself as worthy. I was chosen for it by my peers though. Not the the key board warriors but by the guys I respect and consider friends. It's sort of.........validation. Maybe that's not the right word.

When it came time to vote I struggled to choose. I had at least three I thought worthy. Guys that make a difference for me. I still feel the right guy would have been Tom Castellani. He works harder than anyone. Helps everyone he can. Is generous with his time and even his equipment. Even peels me out of the trees from time to time. OKay fine!.....................frequently. I'm the blabber mouth but our races simply would not happen without Tom. Thanks Tom.

Terry - I was torn between you and Tom also.
I was very happy that one of the two of you won it.
They should of had two Awards the same, or One that could have two names on it.

Hey guys I had a good time calling the heats for you but getting to know you all was fantastic. Thanks for having me. The MMEU club did a great job hosting this race. I can see the IMPBA FE Nats coming back here soon. Congrats to Terry Davis on receiving the very first ever Ed Hughey Sportsman award. Also congrats to Tyler Davis on winning the first Presidents Cup. Running the Shootout format was awesome. If you won a class you beat the best guys running. Congrats to all the winners!
