Still havnt figured anything out. I really dont think I can blaim the Zippy lipos because others use them with amazing results. I think that I am going to transfer a Supervee Electronics setup into it and see how it runs with that. Anyone know how well that will work in a 32inch cat hull? I will say this hull is quite narrow compared to my skunkworks cat. -
NoMo was the person I got the boat from and hopefully he can chime in here. The boat doesnt have the stock motor and esc in it anymore. He changed it out to this mystery esc and a different motor. I dont have the PM about what exactly the motor is right now but Ill try to get in touch with NoMo and get it all figured out.Leave a comment:

Im not 100% what boat this is did i quick google and the 2 i am looking at have a 3650kv motor. that would be a prob on 4s. I hope this is not the case

Power seriously drops after 30 or so seconds.
I took my new apparition cat out for its first runs this past weekend. Plopped in my new set of zippy rhino 4900 packs, hooked up two 2s for 4s. When I punched it my boat took off like there was no tomorow. There was some serious speed to it, then after a few passes it just dropped off. Probably went from a solid 45mph to like 25. Really dissapointing. Any ideas on what may be up? My guess is batteries but after just dropping over 800 building a new brushless bashing truck, I dont know if I wanna jump into expensive batteries for this thing right now.
Weird thing for me was how awesome the power was right off the bat, and then how it just teetered off.
