That is kewl. Well the charger I bought is a VENOM balance charger and I still think its what I want and need. I just ordered 4 3cell from tower 2@2200mAH and 2 @ 3200mAH. now I will order some Deans connectors from Mr Hill and should be all set right?

This is the coolest feature of all... The Fuel level indicator.... I really like it.. Here is all the modes. Again I have no affiliation with them at all. Oh and it can SAFELY charge at 1.5C If you look you don't even use the Dean or power connectors to charge. It is a true balance charge. Not a bleeding balance. Made in the USA and a great value.

I honestly do not think there is a more fool proof, cost effective,fool proof, safe, safe, safe, SAFE, system out there.
Here is what I use to charge my cells, I have MiMH Rx and Tx cells, four 3S packs, four 2S packs, and two 4S packs. This set up is flawless!.
No, I have no affiliation with them, I just honestly beleive in the products.

No from FMADIRECT. Yes it will only do 4S. The balance pro charge will do 6S I think. The biggest boat I run is 6S. I charge two 3S packs. 4S is perfect for me.
It charges and balances in ONE unit. charges PER CELL!! Not like a TP were you need two peices or even the Hyperoin ( which are both good systems). Also those two balance by bleeding off voltage.. not a true balance charge. IMO FMA is the best system for the $$ there is. And they have the DPM which I will not run with out now. I have to take care of my cells the way I think is best. That means, for me, charging to no more than 4.15V per cell and running down to 3.2V per cell. The FMA system lets me do just that.

Connectors as in nodes? You can just change them. Easy as cheesy. Here is something to think about though. There is no 5S legal boat class. 4S and 6S... no 5S. You will do running 4S most likey. Or 6S. Thats 2 3S packs. Then you can use the same packs as your Heli.. Either way you can change your nodes. Thats the easy part...Frustration is just that, there is an answer. :)

Thats my problem I use 3 cell on helis and 5 on boats, I can see using higher priced and quality on heli's but on boats any decent 5cell 3500mAH should work or a combo of battery's. so I got a charger to do 2-5cells and now noone can find batterys with the right connectors
