Dumas deep vee 20, Enya 19 with a Kool Klamp, still have it minus the engine 30 years later! Thinking about putting a Geico motor in it for some vintage fun.

My very first boat was the Kyosho JetStream. Shortly after that, I bought an Outboard 3.5cc AC Wave Slave. These boats were an absolute blast!!! I ran and raced that AC Waveslave alot. I only recently sold the waveslave as the nitro engine was too loud. So I bought an Impulse 31. Nevery looking back after switching to Electrics.

I had an FDM32. Great boat for the times. Ran it with an 800BBX brushed motor which was basically a Makiita 18 volt drill motor. Ran it on 18 cells. The motors were good for about a dozen runs that way. Really sweet ride. Those boats were pulled from .80 ABS plastic instead of styrene. Really stiff for plastic. There was a hook built into the bottom right off the plug. It was fine for the speeds we were running then. I always wondered how they would fair with real power.
Sure had a ton of fun with mine.

Dug my second Fe Offshore out of the garage this week end and took a few photos. Just for interest. It is a kit from Graupner called the Key Biscayne. Only down side is that it uses an ABS hull rather than glass fibre but despite that it comes out fairly sturdy. Built as per the kit with a steerable drive
Have a second one built with the same 700BB motor and a flexishaft and strut. The boat comes out at about 34"-35".
Despite having run bigger boats, I reckon that the boats up to about 1 metre (39") are really great for the UK as they easily fit the average car over here and suit the size of many of our avilable waters.
Also big enough to look good when painted up in scalish colours

First one for me was the Traxxas Nitro-Vee. I still have it and was thinking of a brushless conversion.
First FE is the HK Genesis. In the process of re-building her now.

Well I don't have my first one yet. But I do have a FC Fantasm single screw being built right know by Keith Bradly. An next weekend I'm going to get a Miss Geico or Mötley Crew to learn alittle before my FC gets here in a month.
