Resin or Epoxy is your freind, & it is of course easier to do it before heading off to the wet stuff.
I will let you know how I go.

Let us know how that works out for you.Originally posted by simo71 View PostI have one of these in white, very nice hull & hardware. I lost the 1620kv & the ESC & have put in a 180 seaking & the Turnigy 500 typhoon outrunner, this is a 6 pole motor & has a good amount of torque & will be using a x445 to start with.
Yet to hit the water with it, but will be doing so this weekend.
I heard about weak motor mounts, trays etc... Seems to be common with the cheaper boatsOriginally posted by Mick..BJ26..BL View PostMy mate has one with a KB45 1600 kv on 5s with a Turnigy 180, She flies.. A bit loose but for the price very good. Look into strenghtening the motor mount, battery tray and stuffing tube as they usualy come weak or loose.

Thanks for the heads up Steve.Originally posted by Steven Vaccaro View PostI suggest ordering these from someone close. They all have some sort of problem.
Out of the 3 monos I have. All had some sort of issue. Nothing that couldn't be worked out, but some things may not be acceptable. Like spider-ed paint I found on one the other day.

I ALWAYS try to order as much as I can from Jan or Steve, personnel preference. Those guys have great business's and are great to deal with. I email Jan a few times a month just to BS and he always responds and answer my questions reguardless how stupid my questions they may be. Certain people I try to support no matter what reguardless of cost, and OSE & Kintec are 2 of them!Originally posted by liquidgenesis View PostMost likely that one, but Kintec has it for $290.
Head of the River has it for $270.

Sweeeet, you answered my questions. Thanks I hope to order this soon.Originally posted by vasy View Postyes, enough space for 180.
I'd try m445 1st, seems x6 series of props drain battery faster. I get butter runtime on x442 then on x640... and more fun :)

Thanks so much. I have a leopard 4074, will a seaking 180 fit in the hull? I have a m445 and x642. Maybe 1 of those will work.Originally posted by vasy View PostI have Pursuit mono.
Currently run it on 4s, Leopard 4074 2200kv with a Seaking 120. Tried x440, x640, x442 and x445. Runs well with x442 and better with x445.
