    Lobster/Fishing Boat

So since I'm relatively new to this forum and FE I figured I'd post one of my older projects.

I've been into small scale (micro) rc since about 2001, I've owned and driven everything from zip zaps and bits to epochs and mini zs, to mini ts and rustlers. I even have a discontinued DTM X4 chassis on the way which I cant wait to build... supposedly these are the best 1/24th scale chassis' made.

So here is one of my micro projects, a small scale rc boat with tank steering. She's quite a little cutie and really a work of art in person, I wish I had more pictures of the guts and the detail work but since I'm at school I'll be unable to get some. The electronics is just a simple board from an rc tank fit snuggly into the belly of the boat. It runs by tank model steering with two small 1/64th scale motors underneath with handmade propellers. Since I'd goes about .0000000001 mph I didnt have to worry about the correct pitch and such... just that it steered straight and forward.....

And yes I'm aware that it's tilted to one side, thats the result of the massive weeds and the balance of the battery and electronics, didnt have time to adjust that while I made her.

Anyways this is my introduction into FE, now I've moved onto much bigger and wayyy faster boats and also working on building my own boat from scratch!

    Cheers!
